Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information BrickTrue collects, how it is used, when it may be disclosed, how it is protected and retained, the third-party services involved, and the privacy choices and consumer rights that may apply. It applies to the BrickTrue website, accounts, collector tools, grading and verification features, market-intelligence features, and related services.

Information you provide

Depending on the features you use, you may provide account and profile details, email or other contact information, collection records, wishlist or watchlist information, purchase or acquisition details, grading and verification submissions, uploaded photographs or images, support inquiries, other communications, preferences, and other information you choose to provide. BrickTrue does not claim ownership of your private collection records, wishlist information, grading submissions, or photographs. You grant BrickTrue only the rights reasonably necessary to store, process, analyze, secure, and display submitted information to provide the functionality you request.

Information collected automatically

To operate and secure the service, BrickTrue may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, timestamps, pages or features accessed, referring information where available, and application or security logs. The current application does not intentionally implement advertising cookies, personalized advertising, or a separate advertising-tracking system. Any essential session or preference storage used by a feature will be limited to that purpose.

How we use information

BrickTrue uses information to provide and maintain accounts; keep private collections, wishlists, and watchlists available to the relevant user; provide grading and verification features; produce requested market intelligence and analytics; maintain security and prevent abuse or fraud; troubleshoot and improve the service; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations. BrickTrue may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand service usage and improve analytics, but this does not make identifiable private collection information public or transfer ownership of it to BrickTrue.

Collector data is customer data

Your private collection, wishlist, watchlist, acquisition, grading, and photograph submissions remain your information. BrickTrue does not represent that entering this information makes it BrickTrue property. This customer data is separate from BrickTrue's proprietary software, Market Score, methodologies, analytics, reports, and generated platform intelligence, which belong to BrickTrue or its licensors.

Third-party services and marketplace connections

BrickTrue may interact with external marketplaces, APIs, data providers, hosting or infrastructure providers, and other service providers. Current market integrations include eBay and StockX; these companies do not sponsor, endorse, or control BrickTrue. BrickTrue sends only the requests needed for an enabled integration and does not represent that private collection records are transmitted to a marketplace merely because a listing is displayed. Clicking a marketplace link takes you to that provider's service and privacy practices.

Affiliate and referral links

Some marketplace or referral links may contain identifiers needed for attribution. BrickTrue's Affiliate Disclosure explains those relationships. After you leave BrickTrue, the destination merchant or marketplace may process information under its own policy. BrickTrue does not invent or imply an affiliate relationship where one has not been implemented.

AI and image processing

The current grading and verification implementation accepts submission information and photograph metadata as part of the BrickTrue workflow. It does not currently document a transmission of those images to an external AI or model provider. BrickTrue will update this policy before enabling such a provider to describe the provider category, information transmitted, and purpose accurately.

Cookies and browser storage

BrickTrue does not currently claim to use advertising cookies, personalized advertising, Google AdSense, a cookie-consent manager, global privacy-control handling, or a “Do Not Sell or Share” system. Where an essential session or preference mechanism is used, it supports operation of the requested feature rather than advertising.

When information may be disclosed

BrickTrue may disclose information as reasonably necessary to service and infrastructure providers; security or fraud-prevention providers; comply with law or valid legal process; protect BrickTrue, customers, or others; or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset transfer, subject to applicable law. BrickTrue does not sell personal information.

Security

BrickTrue uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so BrickTrue cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

Personal and customer information is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain an account, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent fraud or security abuse. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where legally or operationally required.

Access, correction, and deletion requests

Customers may email privacy@bricktrue.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of applicable personal information. Requests should preferably come from the email address associated with the BrickTrue account when possible. BrickTrue may request reasonable information to verify the requester's identity before processing it and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. BrickTrue will never ask you to send your password by email.

You may request deletion of your BrickTrue account and associated personal information through the same address. This is a manual request process; BrickTrue does not currently offer self-service deletion. Deletion may not include information BrickTrue must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or similar obligations. Residual copies may temporarily remain in backups until those backups rotate or expire.

Consumer privacy rights

Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy or portability of certain information, opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale or sharing, or qualifying profiling if BrickTrue ever engages in those activities, receive nondiscriminatory treatment, and appeal a privacy-rights decision where applicable. These rights are not universal and may be subject to exceptions, verification, and lawful retention requirements.

Children

BrickTrue is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should use the available BrickTrue support channel to contact us.

Third-party websites

BrickTrue is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party marketplaces or websites after you leave BrickTrue.

Changes to this policy

BrickTrue may update this policy as the platform and applicable requirements change. The Effective Date and Last Updated date displayed on this page will be updated with the current version. BrickTrue does not promise a particular notification method unless one is implemented.
